See hour by hour who has room
The day view puts every engineer on a timeline. You see how long a job takes and where there is still a gap for the job that has just come in. You move a job by dragging it, to another time or to another engineer.
Move work without ringing round
Change the date, start time or duration and assign an engineer or a whole crew. The engineer sees the change in their own app, so everyone works from the same up-to-date schedule.
No job left waiting
Jobs without an appointment sit in a list of their own beside the schedule. You pick a date, a start time and one or more engineers. If someone already has something on at that moment, in the schedule or in their own calendar, you see it before you schedule the job.
Connects to your own calendar
Every user connects their own Google Calendar or Outlook. Appointments from Flixer Pro appear in that calendar, and what was already in it blocks the schedule without anyone entering it twice. Using another calendar app? Subscribe with an ICS link and follow the schedule there.
Common questions about scheduling
Does the engineer see the schedule on their phone?
Yes, in the Flixer Pro app for iOS and Android. They see their own jobs for today and for the week, with address and work details.
Does the engineer get a notification when the schedule changes?
No, the app does not send a notification. The engineer sees the new schedule as soon as they open the app, and if they have connected their calendar, the appointment is there too.
Can I connect my own calendar?
Yes, Google Calendar and Outlook. The connection is per user rather than per company, so each engineer connects their own.
What happens if I double-book someone?
Flixer Pro asks you to confirm first. It stays a warning: if you still want the job at that moment, you can schedule it.
Can I schedule crews rather than individuals?
Yes. You assign an appointment to several people at once, which is the normal way to plan for contractors and larger installation work.
