Extra work recorded on the job sheet carries through to the invoice. Whether that is a separate line or a separate invoice is up to you.
What happens to a quote that is not accepted?
It stays with the customer at whatever status it reached. Next time that address gets in touch, you can see what you offered before and why it did not go ahead.
